Admission Details for D. Pharm

Uttaran Institute of Medical Sciences (UIMS) offers the D. Pharm course under the affiliation of the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development (Technical Education Division). The program is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the pharmaceutical field, preparing them for a successful career in healthcare.

Course Details

  • Intake: 60 students
  • Duration of Course: 2 years

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

  • Must have completed the age of 17 on or before 31st December of the year of admission (2021).
  • Must have passed 10 + 2 examinations or its equivalent examination in the General Stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.
  • Must have qualified the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTE & VE& SD) in the admission year (2021).

Note:

  • Candidates passing the 10+2 examination or equivalent examination in the Vocational Stream are not eligible for admission in D. Pharm as stated by the Pharmacy Council of India.
